Herbivores are those animals, such as deer and koalas, that only eat plant material. ... While most carnivores, such as cats, eat only meat, facultative carnivores, such as dogs, behave more like omnivores as they can eat plant matter along with meat.

Herbivorous are those animals which only feeds upon green plants and the carnivorous animals are those animals which depends only upon the another animal they eat flesh of another animal. similarly the example of herbivorous are,cow,buffalo,goat.and example of carnivorous animal are dangerous animals like lion, tiger and leopard.

Difference between Herbivore and Carnivore:

Herbivore are the organisms who are totally dependent on plants and plant products for nutrition.

Ex. Horse,Cow, Elephant.

Carnivore are organism who are dependent on meat and meat products for their nutrition.

Ex. Tiger, lion.
