How to calculate hybridization of carbon in organic compounds based on lone parts or bond pair

Hi,Carbon atom is sp3 hybridised if it is connected by 4single bond with other atoms.It is sp2 hybridised if it carries one double bond (-cdouble bond c) and 2 single bond.

It can be calculated by counting the Steric number of that organic compound. Steric number is sum of all sigma bonds and lone pairs. Steric no. 5 = sp3d , 4= sp3, 3= sp2 , 2 = sp, 1 = s.
