what are differences between phenyl,benzyl,aryl/
please explain with structures.

Phenyl and aryl signify C6H5- group. But when we name a compound, where a hydrogen of benzene ring is substituted by another foreign atom aor group, then we use "Aryl+that atom or group" e.g- Aryl Chloride(C6H5Cl).But the moiety C6H5- itself called a phenyl group.Benzyl group is the group where a methylene group is attached to benzene ring i.e- C6H5-Ch2- group.
