Why only the-OH group from 5th carbon (not -OH from any other carbon) attacks on 1st carbon of glucose during the formation of cyclic anomers?

To reduce the steric hindrances and bulkiness and to gain the more stablity with more number of carbon chains It choose the 5th carbon atom to get eliminated.
Reasons are same: To achieve the stability level.
