Hai
olubodun ayodeji temitope,
The two components of starch are Amylose and Amylopectin.
They differ in the type of glycosidic bonds present between their monomers.
The amylopectin component has Alpha1-4 glycosidic bond (linear molecule) and
amylopectin has Alpha1-4 and 1-6 glycosidic bond (branched molecule),
which makes it complex in its structure.
The image uploaded illustrates the above bonds better.
