A substance which is already present in nature but grows in Quantity due to human activity and
adversely effects the environment is called pollutant
Ex : CO2, SO2….etc
A substance which is not present in nature, but produced by human activity and has adverse effect on
environment is called contaminant
Ex : MIC (methyl Isocyanate)
