A solution of unhydrous dextrose (m.w 180) contain 25g in 500ml of water.calculate the freezing point of the solution

Since anhydrous dextrose is added to water to form the given solution, that means there will be a depression in the freezing point of water. Thus, instead of water being frozen at 0OC, it will now freeze at even a lower temperature.
One can thus calculate the depression in freezing point as \Delta Tf= 1000*k/m
where m is the molality of the solution.
On calculating the above value and subtracting it fom 0OC, the answer to the above question can be obtained.
