we have equation for standard reduction potential as 2H+ +2e- ------H2 we have E=E0 -.059/nlog[H]/[H+]^2 E0=0 n=2 [H]=1 E=-.06/2*log[H+]^-2 E=-log[H+]*(-.06) =pH*.06=10*.6=-.6V Thus the potential of hydrogen electrode whose ph is 10 is -.6V
