i think ferrous sulfate will react with kmno4 in acidic medium
n factor in redox reaction is basically change in oxidation number.
the reaction is as follows
5fe(2+) + mno4- +8h+---------mn2+ fe3+ + 4 h20
change in oxidation of iron is rrom 2 to 3 therefore n fator=1
n fator or mno4- is (7-2)=5
