The dispersed phase is solid that is fat  and dispersion medium is liquid  of cheese a colloidal solution

  1. A colloid is a heterogeneous system in which one substance is present in small amount( like solute in solution ) called as dispersed phase and other in large amount that is in excess that is called dispersion medium.
  2. The dispersed phase and dispersed medium can be solid ,liquid or gases .
  3. Examples of colloidal systems are- Milk , cheese , Fog,cream etc
  4. Cheese is also a colloidal solution which consists of dispersed phase and dispersion medium .
