a solid sphere of radius R and a hollow sphere of inner radius r and outer R are heated to same temperature then rate of cooling is higher for hollow sph. explain.

Rate of cooling is directly proportional to surface area and inversely proportional to mass so bath have same surface area but hollow sphere has less mass as it`s volume is lesser than solid sphere. So hollow sphere has higher rate of cooling
