Object A and B are initially in thermal equilibrium. Object A and C are originally not in thermal equilibrium, but the two are placed in thermal contact and quickly reach thermal equilibrium. After doing this(A)B and C will also be in thermal equilibrium.(B)B and C could be in thermal equilibrium, but might not be.(C)B and C cannot be in thermal equilibrium.
