you obviously have a great rank if u r getting elec in DTU . U can obviously get mech there in that case . DTU's mech is considered equivalent to IIT Delhi's mech .
DTU's mech IS BETTER than any other college's mech .
no doubt NITs are very gud...but in comparison to nit warangal etc,DCE is a far better option.

Umm it is a clash of titans, i must say both DTU and NIT have images of their own...you better compare the placement record of the two and also try to cull out information regarding quality of education over there,...and you are done...i mean after that a clear choice can be made...and if you want to try at other renowned places too, i may suggest you....
