The physician Robert Koch in late 1870 identiied the bacteria that causes Anthrax, a disease which can occur in cattle, sheep and humans.
Experiement: He injected the bacteria that he thought caused anthrax from sheep into 20 generations mice. All the mice caught disease and the bacteria he isolated from all the mice were the same which he had injected from sheep.
In 1874 he identified TB causing bacteria.
In 1884 in Bombay state of India, Koch resided and researched at Grant Medical College, where he was able to determine the causative agent of cholera, isolatingVibrio cholerae.
He also developed postulates on how researchers should find disease as shown in image.
