Qualified the JEE Advanced 2014 Exam- Know the JEE Advanced 2014 Counselling Procedure Here!

 

The exam results for JEE Advanced were announced on June 19 and the process for joint online choice filling and seat allocation for admissions in IITs and ISM Dhanbad has begun from June 20. The qualified students of JEE Advanced have registered on the official website by June 24. This was a one-time process that students had to under-go.

Post the online registration, aspirants have to sign-in for counselling. The various steps involved are as follows:

Step 1: Choice filling

  • Students can fill in as many numbers of choices as possible. JEE advanced recommends a minimum of 50 choices to be filled in.

  • To close the choice filling, click on the LOCK button.

  • Once the choices have been locked (a minimum of 50), students should take a print of the same for future reference and safe-keeping.

  • Post choice filling, students have to wait for the seat allocations.

b. Online release of the 2ndround of seat allocation on7thJuly 2014

c. Online release of the 3rd round of seat allocation on12thJuly 2014

d. Admission withdrawal from9th to 11th July 2014

Step 2: Announcement of seat allocation results

  • To know the seat allocation, students need to sign in on the JOCSAP portal (Joint Online Choice Filling & Seat Allocation Portal) by providing their user id, password and JEE Advanced roll number.

  • Once a student is allotted a seat, he/ she must proceed for online payment to book the provisional seat allocation.

Step 3: Online payment process

  • Once the confirmation of payment is received, students need to return to the JOCSAP website to download the Declaration on Acceptance Form.

  • Students are required to take a print of this form and get it signed by their parents/ guardians along with their signatures. This signed form then needs to be uploaded on the website.

  • If any student fails to make the payment by the scheduled date (yet to be announced), he/ she will not be considered for the further rounds of seat allocation.
