JEE Main 2022 Answer Key 

 

JEE Main 2022 answer key for session 1 held in June 2022 is now released. Check the official site of NTA JEE to challenge the answer key until the window is open. Otherwise, you can use the answer key to estimate your scores in JEE Main 2022. 

 

JEE Main answer key is an important piece of information as it helps students in getting the correct answers of all the questions asked in the exam. Many times students want to check their answers and see how many questions they have done right. But, there is no trusted source. The JEE Main 2022 answer key details for Session 1 held in June 2022 are given below.

JEE Main 2022 Session 2 will be held in July 2022 on dates 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th & 30th July 2022. The final dates of release of answer keys and/or declaration of JEE Main results is not out yet. So, students have to wait until NTA releases the final dates. 

 

Display of Answer Keys for JEE Main by NTA

 

• First, NTA provides a provisional answer key on the NTA JEE Main website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/. 
• Students can challenge this answer key. This means that if a student thinks that the answer to a question in the answer key is wrong and they have the right answer, the student can challenge the NTA answer key. 
• To challenge an answer students have to pay INR 200 per question challenged. 
• Students will generally get two-three days to challenge the provisional answer key. 
• Students must note that only paid challenges will be considered by NTA for review.

Downloading JEE Main 2022 Answer Key from NTA Website 

 

• Go to the official website of NTA JEE Main https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/. 
• Click on the link of answer keys/ question paper (in case you are checking the candidate responses). 
• You will be redirected to a page where you have to enter your application number and password or your application number and date of birth and you can login in your account. 
• Then, you have to choose your examination code and date of examination. 
• The JEE Main answer key will be displayed on your screen. 

 

Now we answer some of the commonly asked questions regarding JEE Main 2022 answer keys. 

 

• Do you need to provide justification for the answer that you challenge? 

Yes, students have to provide a justification or evidence for the answers they want to challenge. Students must also file the challenge once the answer key has been released. Submitting the challenge through any other means will not be considered by the NTA. 

 

• Whose decision will be considered as final when it comes to answer keys? 

Students can challenge the answer key but it does not mean that the answers that they have submitted are final. NTA will review the challenges and will display the final answer key. That answer key will be considered as final. NTA will not inform the candidates whether their challenge has been accepted or not. 

 

Once the final answer key is released, no grievances will be entertained regarding the answer keys. 

 

• Will NTA show the answer sheets of the students? 

Yes, NTA will display the answers marked by students and the question papers on the official website. This will be done prior to the declaration of the final result/score of JEE Main. The recorded responses will be displayed for two to three days on the NTA JEE Main website. 

 

• Will the final scorecard be shared with the candidates on email? 

Yes, students will receive the final scorecards via email. NTA will send the final scorecards to the registered email address of the candidates. Students must note that:

• Final scorecards or All India Rank will be displayed only after the declaration of JEE Main 2022 Session 2 results. 
• A hard copy of scorecards will not be dispatched to the candidates. You have to download the scorecards on your own from the NTA website. 
• Once the final scorecard is released, you cannot request to change it or re-evaluate your scores. 
• Only the All India Rank (AIR) is used for admissions through Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)/Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) to NITs/ IIITs/ CFTIs/ SFIs/ Others.
