The JEE or Joint Entrance Examination is conducted every year to enable students to get admission into IITs, IIITs, NITs, and GFTIs. It comprises two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the country.

May 18, 2025: JEE Main 2025 Session 2 application correction window has been opened by NTA. Candidates can make corrections in their application form until May 20, 2025.
May 12, 2025: JEE Main 2025 Session 1 results have been declared. Candidates can download their scorecards from the official NTA JEE website.
May 5, 2025: The provisional answer key for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 has been released. Candidates can challenge the answer key until May 7, 2025.
July 1, 2022: JEE Main 2022 form correction facility started for session 2 application forms. Any candidate who wants to get their particulars corrected can apply for the same.
April 25, 2025: The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 application form window is now open. The last date to apply is April 30, 2025.
April 10, 2025: NTA has announced that the JEE Main 2025 Toppers List for Session 1 will be released shortly after the results.
