Information is provided for the first year entrance exam for undergraduate program for MBBS & BDS. It is an all-India examination and will be held at nine cities across the country.

The Exam Administrator tries to allot the centre as per the order of preference clicked by the applicant during online application. However, the final decision of allotment lies with the University.
City and address for the center of examination will be given on the Hall Ticket.
No request for change of center will be considered under any circumstances.
Candidates must bear all costs such as transportation, etc., to appear for the examination.
Timings of the exam are mentioned on the Hall Ticket and it is the responsibility of the candidate to reach the center on allotted date and time.

Candidates who have qualified All India Quota UG Medical/Dental Entrance Exam (AIUGMEE) are eligible for admission in BHU- IMS. However, candidates need to apply for admission at BHU-IMS before February 2018.
Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Candidates should be of 17 years of age or attain this age as on 31st December 2018 and not cross 25 years of age as on 31st Dec 2018.
The applicants should have passed the qualifying examinations in the manner mentioned below
Candidates must have passed Intermediate Science/Pre-Medical Course/12 year or 10 + 2 or equivalent qualifying examination with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Candidates belonging to the general category must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany and Zoology) and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology) taken together
Candidates belonging to the backward classes category must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany and Zoology) and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology) taken together
Candidates who will appear or have appeared in the qualifying examination in March / April 2018 and whose results have not yet been declared can also apply for admission, if other eligibility criteria are satisfied.
Based on the score of BHU AIPMPT - 2018, candidate will be shortlisted for counseling based on their NEET (AIPMT) score and rank.
Based on the result of NEET (AIPMT) MBBS ENTRACNE - 2018, separate merit lists will be prepared for each category.

As per Government of India norms, 3% reservation for Physically Challenged Candidates will; be given horizontally, i.e. 2 seats in MBBS and 1 seat in BDS.
Foreign Students
Foreign Nationals are not required to appear in the entrance exams. They may seek admission through respective Ministries of Govt. of India, New Delhi, as per the rules laid down for this purpose.

Read the prospectus and the instruction carefully.
The candidate should acquaint himself/herself with all requirements with regard to filling up the application on-line as well as submission of application.
For online applications, only signed, scanned and uploaded online submissions are accepted. However, it is advisable that candidates keep a record of printouts with them.
Application form should be signed with a blue/black pen on a white sheet.

The hall ticket will contain name and date of birth as typed by the candidate in the application, photo and signature image as uploaded by the candidate; Examination City allotted and roll number.
Change in category / status in the hall ticket will alone be considered for rectification.
No candidate will be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination unless he/she holds the Hall Ticket.

The BHU MEDICAL ENTRACNE Exams breakup per subject is provided below. Reach the venue by 7.30 a.m. so as to locate your lab/room. Entry for examination is strictly prohibited after 9.30 a.m.

The paper will be for three (03) hours or 180 minutes duration.
The exam is conducted in English
Each candidate will be allotted a computer terminal.
It shall carry 200 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Each correct answer will be awarded one mark.
1 mark will be subtracted for each incorrect answer.
Read each question carefully before submitting the submit button.
Press the answer only if you are sure of the answer. Remember, once an answer has been submitted, you cannot return to that question.
Candidates are advised to go through the Mock Test for computer based Test (online examination) for NEET (AIPMT).

You will get only 180 minutes to solve a total of 200 questions. So, it is imperative that you practice all of them repeatedly to build up both speed and precision. Revision of all topics along with your paper solving abilities will definitely impact your chances of selection.

Results are expected in June. Once your All India entrance result has been announced you need to register with BHU within 15 days.
Once the results have been declared, candidates appearing for BDS & MBBS ENTRACNE exam 2018 will be shortlisted for counseling sessions. Counseling is expected to begin in the first week of July. The actual admission will depend on the number of seats available when his/her turn comes in order of his/her merit.
