As per official notification, the result for the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) MBBS programme for the session 2018-2019 is likely to be declared on June 12, 2018. The eligible candidate will be offered courses by 7 AIIMS campuses located in New Delhi, Bhopal, Patna, Jodhpur, Raipur, Rishikesh and Bhubaneswar.
Once the result is declared, the roll number of the qualifying candidates will be displayed on notice board of Examination Section in the AIIMS official website.
The qualified candidates will be called for the counseling scheduled which is going to start on July 03, 2018. This year, the total no. of candidate in each category of UR, OBC, SC & ST to be called for counseling will be four times the no. of seats available in each category.
The General category candidates will be required to have 50 percent minimum marks in the entrance examination to qualify. Moreover, the candidates belonging to the OBC category need minimum 45 per cent marks while those belonging to SC/ST Categories will be required to have at least 40 per cent minimum marks in the Entrance Examination. The rule will be applicable for all the new AIIMS.
As per latest direction of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare & the reservation etc, OPH candidates will be required to secure a minimum of 50 per cent marks in case of General Category candidates, 45 per cent for OBC & 40 per cent for SC/ST candidates in the Entrance Examination.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) MBBS Entrance Exam 2018 was conducted in both offline and online mode across 18 centres in the country on June 12, 2018.
