Errors in JEE Mains 2014 Paper Based/Computer Examination fetch grace marks for the Applicants

 Delhi: The IIT JEE Mains 2014 Examination was conducted in the offline mode and in the online mode both. The offline examination was conducted on 6th April, 2014 across the country. In this examination paper, one question was given incorrect. Due to this, the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) granted 4 marks to all the applicants whosoever have appeared for the paper based examination. Similarly, online mode of examination was conducted from 9th to 19th April 2014. The applicants who have appeared examination in the online mode on 19th April 2014 faced 3 incorrect questions in the exam. Due to this, CBSE granted 12 extra marks to all those applicants who have taken the computer based examination on 19th April 2014.

As we all know, on 2nd May 2014, the final answer keys were released by the CBSE board. JEE Main 2014 Results were also released on the same day as well. Thus, in total, 7 questions were wrong in the JEE Main 2014 examination which is a big blunder.

Following are those questions which were erroneous in the IIT JEE Mains 2014 examinations-

  • In the Paper Based exam, question number 36 is incorrect in Booklet series E.

  • In the Paper Based exam, question number 18 is incorrect in Booklet series F.

  • In the Paper Based exam, question number 65 is incorrect in Booklet series G.

  • In the Paper Based exam, question number 89 is incorrect in Booklet series H.

  • In the computer Based exam, question Number 7 is incorrect.

  • In the computer Based exam, question Number 47 is incorrect.

  • In the computer Based exam, question Number 48 is incorrect.

The JEE Main 2014 results are out. Applicants who have attained top 1.5 lakh ranks are eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced examination 2014. Applicants who have attained good scores in JEE Main 2014 examination are also eligible for the admission in NITs, IIITs, and other central government funded institutions. JEE Advanced 2014 Examination scores are mandatory to get admissions at ISM Dhanbad and the prestigious IITs. Now it is the time for the registration for the JEE Advanced 2014 examination. This examination would be held on 25th May, 2014. In JEE Advanced, Paper I would be held in the morning session between 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM, and Paper II would be held in the afternoon session between 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM.
