JEE Advanced 2018: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will be responsible for conducting the exam.
In QS World University Rankings 2013, IIT Kharagpur has been ranked among the Top 400 educational institutions in the world (at #346). The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2013-14 too has ranked it in the 351-400 range. QS has ranked IIT Kharagpur at #58 at Asia level while THS has ranked it as the top educational hub in India.
The dates for the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2018 or JEE Advanced 2018 have also been announced. Often referred to as IIT JEE 2018 (as selection to all the sixteen IITs is only through JEE Advance exam), JEE Advanced 2018 will be conducted on May 20, 2018. Time slots for both the papers of JEE Advanced have been scheduled as follows:
Paper 1 of JEE Advanced will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Paper 2 of JEE Advanced will be conducted from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
JEE Advanced is an entry point to architecture, science and engineering programmes of IITs as well as undergraduate programmes of the Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad.
The JEE Main 2018 will be conducted on April 8, 2018 (Pen & Paper Based Test) and 15th & 16th April 2018 (Computer Based Test).
