Established in the year 1921, the Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh, Allahabad has gained huge reputation from around the world for its quality education & world class infrastructure. Recognized by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council, the board conducted its first public examination in the year 1923.
Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh features four Regional Offices at Meerut (1973), Varanasi (1978), Bareilly (1981) and Allahabad (1987) under the control of Regional Secretaries. Presently, the Board has nearly 32 lakh students across the state studying under the Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh, Allahabad.
The UP Board Allahabad is the oldest board to adopt the 10+2 system of examination. At present, the Board is the biggest examining body in the World.

Uttar Pradesh State Board is soon going to announce the date sheet of class 10 exam 2015 in the first week of November, 2014. As per the official notification, the 10th and 12th board exam 2015 will begin from March 2015 and the result will be updated in the month of April 2015.
The students appearing in the exam may download the timetable from the board’s official website once the notification is out.

Secondly, they need to choose the option of the time table which will be available on the home page
Thirdly, students need to choose the option classes (10 or 12) to check the date sheet.

UP Board class 10 paper pattern is different as compared to other board examinations. The board’s external exam carries 70 marks while 30 marks are provided by the school administration.
The 30 marks criteria are further segregated into three tests which are conducted by the school authority.

The UP Board syllabus is prepared keeping in mind the necessary criteria required to gain admission in higher institutes. The board prepares syllabus for the students from Class I to Class XII, for schools affiliated with it.

UP Board result for class 10 was announced on 30 May, 2014. More than 39.93 lakh students enrolled their name for the UP Board class 10 exam 2014.
Understand your Exam: It is very important to understand the examination you are going to take. Use the first 15 minutes effectively to read the question paper. Try reading all the questions and mark those questions that can be easily done by you. This will help you know the paper pattern and the questions type.
Prioritize your attempt: Always try attempting the easier questions first and then move to the manageable ones. Before attempting the difficult questions, ensure yourself that you are not leaving any of the questions that you know very well.
Ensure accuracy and speed: Keep an eye onyour watch while writing the answers to the questions. Try completing your answer sheet 10 minutes before the allocated time so that you can have some time for revision.
Avoid thinking too much about a question: Do not waste your time on a question which you do not know well. Also try to write your answers in points to make it crisp and to the point. Try solving past year papers and sample papers in the allotted time. This will help you simulate and exercise examination pressure better.
