pleasetell me all the basic concepts of rest mass energy coz i m little bit confused wid the formulae used for it..................i m not getting the sol of the ques of hc verma in nuclear physics ie ques no. 3,4,5,6.can u tell me the easiest way to solve them plzzzzzzz...........????????????

Dear Nivi,

Let mass at zero velocity be M

total energy=Mc²/√(1-(v/c)²)

rest mass energy=Mc²

KINETIC ENERGY=total energy-rest mass energy
