How many dimensions are needed to describe the universe?

The total number of dimensions as said by the scientists are:

1.Length                             

2.Mass

3.Time 

4.Electric Current(SI unt Ampere).

5.Thermodynamic temperature(SI unit Kelvin).

6.Amount of substance(SI unit Mole).

7.Luminious Intensity (SI unit Candela)

These all are the fundamental dimensions and all the other dimensions are described using the above.

The dimensions such as quantum gravity and those described by string theory and M theory are yet to be proved

there are three dimension need to describe universe i.e "length ,width ,height ,and time.
