Why bohr's theory cannot explain about elements having multiple electrons???
why is it only applicable to hydrogen atom??
Dear Arpit Dubey,
Bohr's theory is only applicable to Hydrogen atom & other single electron species because in case of multi-electronic species, the line emission spectra of Elements are more complex & thus are difficult to handle !
Moreover,Bohr's threory is based only on the Quantum Theory of Matter & it has some very significant disadvantages to it .
